The Romance Languages Department at Williams College seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor of French, beginning July 1, 2019. We are seeking passionate candidates with a specialization in French and/or Francophone pre-1800 literatures and cultures, with the potential to teach broadly in Medieval and Renaissance studies and/or 17th- and 18th-century studies, and to pursue a rigorous scholarly agenda in their field.

Two Visiting Assistant Professor of French positions at Providence College (RI)

The Department of Foreign Language Studies at Providence College invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions in French to cover for sabbatical leaves. One position is for the full academic year 2018-19 beginning in August 2018 and the other is for the spring semester of academic year 2018-19 commencing in January 2019.

Essential Responsibilities: The teaching load for visiting faculty is four courses (12 credits) per semester.
