3-year position @ West Point

The United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, is hiring for the position of Assistant Professor in French, non-tenure track, on a 3 year contract basis. This is an excellent job opportunity for young scholars, as the salary is very competitive (84,514-86,753 per year, 12 months) and the institution is highly recognized and ranked. Research/conference participation funding is available and, in my case, has been very generous. At the beginning of this appointment, the candidate will be expected to mostly teach beginner/intermediate classes, but there are possibilities to teach higher level classes, including independent studies and capstone projects.
