Description: “The Cantor Art Center's exhibit 'Warriors, Courtiers, and Saints: The Etchings of Jacques Callot' examines the 17th-century French artist's experimental work in the medium of printmaking."

Tromelin, l'île des esclaves oubliés" au musée d'histoire de Nantes

Le musée d'histoire de Nantes, en collaboration avec l'Institut national de recherches archéologiques et

préventives, présente jusqu'au 30 avril 2016 une exposition inédite : "Tromelin, l'île des esclaves oubliés".

Une exposition qui retrace la vie quotidienne de 80 esclaves abandonnés durant 15 ans sur cet îlot désert et

hostile, situé au nord de la Réunion.

En parallèle de l’exposition, des planches originales de BD du dessinateur Sylvain Savoia sont présentées

flower painting from its beginnings in the early 17th century to its blossoming in the late 18th
