The Department of Romance Studies at Tufts University invites applications for a French Lecturer position to begin September 1, 2022. The French Lecturer will teach one upper-level course during the Fall 2022 semester.
Responsibilities
The advanced course should be about 17th century French literature. The course will meet twice a week and is geared towards undergraduate students.
Requirements and skills
• Ph.D. in French required
• Experience in teaching literature
• Native or near-native fluency in French and English
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in designing and teaching college-level French language courses in the U.S.
