We seek an applied linguist (second-language acquisition) or generalist with the ability to teach undergraduate French courses in language, literature, and culture at lower and upper levels. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching, an active research program, and native/near-native fluency in French and English.
The successful candidate will teach courses within the French major and minor, including courses shared among other institutions within the South Dakota Regental system, will be expected to develop a strong program of scholarship and research, and engage with students outside of the classroom through language activities.
