We plan to hold the conference onsite in Reykjavík barring any last minute force majeure events. Nevertheless, given the Covid pandemic, we encourage all conference attendees to purchase flexible or refundable flights and consult the official Icelandic government site for Covid information.

Transportation | Transports
Keflavík International Airport (KEF) is located approximately an hour from downtown Reykjavík. Information about ground transport between the airport and Reykjavík can be found here. The convenient Flybus will take you to the BSÍ Bus Terminal at the edge of downtown (see conference site map), and includes a transfer from there to most downtown hotels.
L´Islande est desservie par des vols internationaux à l‘aéroport de Keflavík (KEF), à une heure de proximité du centre-ville de Reykjavík. Les renseignements sur les transports terrestres depuis l‘aéroport vers Reykjavík se trouvent ici. Le Flybus vous ammenèra jusqu‘au terminal de bus BSÍ aux marges du centre-ville (voir plan des sites), et inclut un transfert vers la plupart des hôtels au centre-ville.

SE17 has obtained a group discount at the local Center Hotels chain. The location closest to the conference sites is Center Hotel Plaza, but other convenient locations include Thingholt, Arnarhvoll, Skjaldbreið and Klöpp (see conference map).

Meals | Repas
The conference will provide morning coffee, lunch and afternoon coffee on all three days, a reception with hors d´oeuvres on Thursday October 13, and a banquet on Saturday October 15. Conference attendees will have to provide their own breakfast during their stay (normally included at Icelandic hotels), and dinner October 13-14.
Le congrès fourniront la pause-café du matin, le déjeuner et la pause-café de l‘après-midi tous les trois jours du congrès, une réception avec hors d‘oeuvres le jeudi 13 octobre, et un banquet le samedi 15 octobre. Swimming pools | Piscines
Not to be missed during your stay in Reykjavík is a visit to a local swimming pool, one of Iceland´s unique treasures. The two closest locations (Sundhöllin and Vesturbæjarlaug) are indicated on the conference map. Be sure to pack a swimsuit and towel.
