Scripps College, a women's liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a one-year, full-time, position in French at the Visiting Assistant Professor level. Courses to be taught will include elementary and intermediate French language courses, and possibly an upper-division French course. The teaching load will be five courses for the year as well as advising on senior theses. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered. Candidates must have experience in teaching French at all levels.
